Made from Douglas Fir wood that was recovered from a 1927 Southgate, California, farmhouse, the Reclaimed Series has all of the playability of our standard models, with a totally unique look. We have purposely left the natural, slight imperfections in the wood to give the finished guitars the weathered character of an instrument that has stood the test of time. This process makes each Reclaimed Series Wilmore guitar a true one-of-a-kind. The Douglas Fir used in the body of the Reclaimed Series is similar to Mahogany in weight and density, but is tonally a bit brighter.
